Catherine is over there minding her own business, reading the script Kasim (Kaseem?) gave her, and our Sports dude, who I will call Chip, lost his fucking mind. Catherine probably hasn’t slept in weeks, ever since she read his precious Space Jam 2 news. You do not cross Chip and deliver the Space Jam 2 news before him. Meanwhile Catherine is taking care of his dying mother, which he so kindly shared with us before telling Catherine not to come into his lane again without paying the ultimate price. 100% chance they’ve had some sort of Ron Burgdandy/Tits McGee type of newsroom romance but he’s still mad they are letting a LADY in the news room at all. Chip’s just letting Catherine know that no matter how many times she changes his mom’s diaper, it’s still HIS newscast and she’s just lucky to be there.
