Today In "No Shit": Sam Bradford Is Heated The Eagles Moved Up To Draft A QB At #2, Wants Trade

Schefty – It’s only natural, but those who have spoken to Sam Bradford say he is not happy with today’s trade.
“He’s hot,” said one source. “Who wouldn’t be? This is Philly saying, ‘We don’t see (you) as long-term answer.’ He’s mad and wants to show everyone who’s best.’’

Jason Cole – “I’ve talked to a source who said it’s likely that Bradford is going to ask for a trade at some point in time, or some way to get out of Philadelphia so that he can move on with his career somewhere else with a team that is going to be invested in him long-term. That’s the kind of solution that Bradford is looking at at this point in time.

“The question for Bradford is whether he’s willing to take some kind of pay cut to make that happen. He has $11 million he’s been paid already by the Philadelphia Eagles as part of the two-year deal that he signed before the start of free agency.”

Uh…ya think? I would be livid. So would you. Sam Bradford just got not only lied to but taken behind the woodshed. The best part is Howie Roseman thinks Sammy would be cool with everything and essentially say Thank You Sir May I Have Another. This snake of a front office easily dipped his balls in confidence during contract negotiations saying his 2-year deal would be a springboard to a monster life in Philly. The Broncos, Jets, or Houston would’ve easily jumped at giving Bradford that low risk deal, short term chance, but the Sleeves (for whatever reason) felt committed to the Eagles. That much is beyond evident as he was basically living with Jordan Matthews and Zach Ertz this off season. Now he wants a trade, and rightfully so. And for a front office that was soooooooo concerned with team chemistry and “Emotional Intelligence” with Chip Kelly uprooting the roster last off season, they’re doing one fuck of a job doing the same exact thing.
