What Do Kevin Spacey, Fetty Wap And The Florida Panthers Have In Common? No Idea, But That's What Makes Hockey Great
If you’ve been following the Florida Panthers in any capacity so far this season, you’ll have known that they hand out the “Spacey In Space” hoodie to the player of the game each night. Some teams have funny hats, some teams may have a WWE belt or something of the sorts, the Florida Panthers have a sweatshirt with Kevin Spacey’s face in space on it.
And when you’re one of the more surprising story lines in the NHL this year like the Florida Panthers have been, word starts to travel fast. So fast that Kevin Spacey himself is hopping on the bandwagon and looks like he’ll be heading down to Sunrise, Florida tomorrow night for the Panthers’ game against Detroit.
So now we’re here in quite possibly the weirdest love triangle of 2016 and that includes Future, Ciara and Russell Wilson. Here we are living in a world where the lead actor of one of the whitest shows Netflix has to offer, a black rap artist and a professional ice hockey team in South Florida are all intertwined with each other and it’s bizarro world to say the least. So let’s put on our conspiracy caps real quick to think about what Kevin Spacey and Fetty Wap have in common to make sense of this whole ordeal.
– Maybe Kevin Spacey only has one functioning eye and we just never knew about it?
– Kevin Spacey is from South Orange, NJ. Fetty Wap is from nearby Paterson, NJ. It’s just a 30 minute car ride on the Garden State Parkway as long as there is minimal traffic. Could that be it? I can’t rule anything out just yet but I have to imagine there’s something more to this.

That seems to be the most logical conclusion that I can draw up. Seems like a pretty open-and-shut case to me. But I’ll still keep my mind open to other possibilities.

Does it make sense? Not at all. But that’s the beauty of it.
