First things first. Feitleberg saying Cam didnt dive on the ball cause he was trying to run with it is arguably the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard in my life. He didn’t dive on it because he thought he was gonna get hurt. That wasn’t a conscious decision. It was instinct. He didn’t think about it. He saw Demarco Ware dive and was afraid to get his arms snapped in half. Again not a conscious decision. If he had time to think about it I’m sure he would have dove. Honestly I’m not sure what is worse. That his natural instinct told him not to risk injury or whether he thought about it and didn’t do it. Either way the clip of him vs. Brady is surreal. And this isn’t even really a knock on Cam either. Just shows what makes TB12 so special. His instinct is always always compete, always win, always do whatever it takes. Doesn’t matter if it’s the Superbowl or week 17 vs. Miami. It’s what makes Brady Brady.
