Sarah Koenig Is Back As Adnan's Hearing For A Retrial Begins

We’re back baby! Serial Season 2 sucks. Nobody cares about it. Nobody listens to it. So what does Sarah Koenig do? She gets back to basic! Its like when you go to a concert and your favorite band tries to play their new shit. Its like when Springsteen starts playing his new age folk music rock stuff. Well thats what Sarah Koenig has done. Adnan is back in court, the hearing to see if he’ll get a retrial is officially underway, and SK is there on the scene to report. Fuck that Bergdahl season 2 shit, I’m playing the hits and talking about Adnan. So here’s where we’re at:

I know that just because you have a beard and wear a little Muslim cap thingy doesnt mean you’re a terrorist but I’m just saying maybe show up not looking like that? I think it was a lot easier for people to sympathize with this dude when he was just a normal looking high school kid. Nobody is granting retrials to a guy who looks like this, bro. Look the part, act the part. Cmon now.

As for the hearing itself, Asia McClean stepped up and finally gave her testimony. If you remember, shes the main piece of the defense’s argument that Adnan deserves a retrial because his original lawyer – everyones favorite Cristina “STEHPPING OUT” Gutierrez – never contacted her about a potential alibi. Koenig said she was very confident and firm in her answers. She also basically said that shes a tall sexy Asian, so somebody get me 2016 pictures of her. But she then teased that the prosecution is going to cross examine her today and they already laid the foundation to poke holes in her story by showing that she actually cant remember shit from fucking 1999.

So more or less everyone’s favorite murder trail is BACK BABY. Sure that poor girl is still dead and Adnan is probably gonna lose and stay in jail forever but at least we got our podcast back, right!
