NYP- The California nurse said to have won a share of the massive $1.5 billion Powerball jackpot was actually pranked by her son, family members told local media. The scenario played out at the Park Avenue Healthcare & Wellness Centre in Pomona, a short drive from the 7-Eleven where one of the three winning tickets was bought for Wednesday night’s drawing nationwide. The other two were sold in Tennessee and Florida. The woman was told by her son that she’d won and on Thursday, a spokesman for Park Avenue Healthcare & Wellness Centre, Josh Nass, insisted it was not a hoax. Shlomo Rechnitz, owner of the center, had purchased 18,000 tickets for his staff. He described the prank as “despicable” and said that he will buy an all-expenses-paid vacation for the nurse and family members, the local ABC News affiliate reported.

Yes.  Just yes. No questions asked. Murder him in cold blood.  Strap him to the bumper of your car and drag him around town.  Make it as vicious as possible.  I guarantee no judge in the world will convict this Mom of anything if she does end up murdering her son. He’s asking for it. I’m not for pranking anyone into thinking they won any sum of money. It’s the meanest thing a person can do.  We’re talking $1 or $10 or $10,000.  Sure as hell not $1.5 billion. That is beyond fucked up. Think about it. Each and every one of us spent the last week dreaming about things we would buy and things we would do if we won the lottery. Cars, boats, yachts, vacations, lifetime supply of Oreos, sinks that have Riptide Rush Gatorade coming out them instead of water, etc.  Now take it a step further and imagine you think you’ve actually won. I’d be popping bottles of champagne, ordering up cocaine and hookers, sending texts to people I hate and just acting like a goddamn fool. Then only to find out the whole thing was a prank. You don’t have a billion dollars. You have the same shitty life you had before.  So yes, she brought that kid into this world, she can take him out. We’ll all look the other way.
