Chuck Pagano Saying He Can Be Fired But He Can't Be Eaten Means One Thing And One Thing Only, Jim Irsay Might Threaten To Eat His Employees On The Reg

I know Feitelberg blogged it but I had a different take so you get a 2 good blogs for 1 deal.

(Source) He sounded like a coach resigned to his grim fate, yet a man steeled in perspective. Chuck Pagano is under fire. On Monday, a day after his team lost a second consecutive game by 35 points, he finally acknowledged it.

Pagano opened up in a way he hasn’t all year, invoking previous coaching lessons from as far back as 1998, his courageous battle with cancer in 2012 and the possibility — one that’s looking and more and more like a probability these days — that he isn’t the Indianapolis Colts coach in 2016.

“They can’t eat you,” he said. “They can fire you, but they can’t eat you. So if the worst thing is a year from now, let’s say I’m in Boise playing with my granddaughters, I’m going to be fine. That ain’t going to happen, but I’m going to be fine if I go down that road.” Pagano, was open, honest, revealing. This felt cathartic for him. He wanted to be clear: He’s been through worse. He hasn’t forgotten that.

So here’s my question. How often does Jim Irsay say he’s going to eat his employees. Like every day? Every week? Because make no mistake, Chuck Pagano saying he can get fired but he can’t get eaten wasn’t random. You don’t just say “hey guys, good news they can no longer eat me” completely out of the blue, that comes from somewhere, somewhere deep and dark. Like I’ve never even thought about getting eaten in my life, not once, not a single time have I said, shit, Dave is pissed, he may eat my body. Yet here we are with Pagano tipping his hand that he actually has harbored this thought before. Which leads me to believe one thing and one thing only, Jim Irsay probably threatens to eat people on the reg. Just walks around the Colts facility with his bedazzled jeans and Ed Hardy shirt, popping pills and telling people to watch out because he’s feeling kind of hungry today. Fork and Knife sitting at his desk at all times, lobster bib on for important meetings. And here’s the best part, if I told you any other NFL owner outside of Jerry Jones threatens to eat his employees you would say I’m crazy, but for Jim Irsay and JJ it somehow seems normal. I’m actually shocked a story of these two guys eating someone hasn’t surfaced sooner. Just a primal rich guy thing. Something a King would do in medieval times. If I don’t like you, I eat you. Just look at this face, that’s the face of a guy who will use the fear of cannibalism to strike at the heart’s of his employees.

PS

Sneaky third owner that possibly eats employees, Martha Ford. Something about her screams my favorite type of meat is human liver.
