A Recap Of the 2015 Mets Season Looks Like A Disney Movie Waiting To Happen

Its a movie, folks. I’ve said it 1000 times. Its gonna make a phenomenal 30 for 30 and an even better Disney flick. The perfect cast of characters – the long tenured, tortured, injured Captain battling back, the life long manager with everything to prove, the young arms, the big acquisition. The lowest of lows from broken legs and tears for trades, terrible losses and heel turns from their stars. The highest of highs from coming back in the NL East to battling past the Dodgers and steam rolling the Cubs. You may not like me…you may not like the Cicadas coming back after 15 years of hibernation…but there is no denying this team has a flair for the dramatic and their story cant be topped.

Give it another week or so and the final piece of the puzzle will be in place. Royals probably starting Edison Volquez game 1. Chris fucking Young game 4. Johnny Cueto just isnt that good to begin with. The starting pitching is such a huge edge for the Mets I genuinely, truly believe the Mets should win. It scares me to be this confident for once. Kershaw and Greinke terrified me. I never imagined a sweep with the Cubs. Deep down I always was guarded and cautiously rooting during those series. This time around I fully believe in this squad. No holding back, I’m all in. Completely at the mercy of this team. And I just cannot envision them letting me down this time.
