Little Dude Puts Tony Hawk On Blast, Nails Perfect 900
The 900 may not mean as much as it used to mean back in the day, but when I was 11-years-old there was only one person in the world who could land that trick. But now we’ve got 11-year-old Asher Bradshaw (A+ whiteboy skater name) shredding apart bowls and landing 900s so perfectly that it looks like he could do it in his sleep. This isn’t even the first time he’s hit a 900 before. This little snot-nosed brat became the youngest person to ever land a 900 last year at the age of 10. In comparison, Tony Hawk was 30 by the time he landed his first.
I assume that everyone went through a little bit of a skater phase back in the day when the X Games were still a big deal and the THPS series was still king. For me, it mostly consisted of waxing the curbs around my town and repeatedly failing to grind them. Or maybe one of your buddies had an X-Factor ramp that came with the rail and you guys spent a few hours every day busting your ass until you realized that you’d never be the next Eric Koston or Bucky Lasek. But for this kid? Well I’ll just go out on a limb here and say maybe he has a bit of a future in skateboarding.
Speaking of Tony Hawk… the new game looks great!
Now cue some tracks.
