The End Of A Legendary Run - Ernie Johnson Just Announced This Is His Final Season On 'Inside The NBA'

Come on, man. This isn't the news we needed today. There's been injuries all over the place in the NBA and now Ernie Johnson says enough is enough? Can't have it, won't have it. I've long said that Inside the NBA is the best show we got going. I don't care if they call it Inside the NBA, it's not going to be the same show without any of these four. You can have 3 of them and it still won't be the same. Not to mention, Chuck is ready to go with Ernie

Ernie is the key piece to this whole show too. Chuck gets all the headlines. Shaq and Kenny are perfect co-stars with Charles. But the glue to it all is Ernie. He's also leaned into making fun of all the guys more and more recently too. He's the perfect guy to try and maintain control before giving up and helping lean into losing contain. He's for sure on the Mt. Rushmore of hosts in TV history. Don't care what category we're talking about here, it's Ernie Johnson.

I know it's not surprising. Eras end all the time. But it still sucks. I know they aren't on as much anymore (we know what ruined that), but there's still something comforting about flipping on the TV and seeing these 4 go at it.

Can't believe this is the last season we'll have of it. Watch it as much as you can, enjoy every moment. The show we know is ending in June and there's no other way to say it. Hell of a run by Ernie.
