The Brewers Offense Just Exploded For An 8 Run Inning All With 2 Outs And Now Have One Hand Firmly On The World Series Trophy

All season long the Brewers won games by scoring a shit ton of runs without the home run ball. Knocking in runners in scoring position was their super power. Batting .276 with a .797 OPS in that situation is nuts. They scored the second most runs in the sport and hit the second fewest homers in the process. I've said it on here before, but the way their 1-9 smothers you as a lineup is incredible and refreshing to watch. They all have an approach, know how to work counts, and ambush pitchers' mistakes. In the 5th inning of tonight's Game 3 they exploded doing exactly that.

It all started with this grounder to Caminero, who decided to take the short way to second instead of going all the way to first. The call was reversed and the inning continued. Flood gates.

When you give this offense extra life like that, they strangle you into submission.

EIGHT consecutive Brewers would reach base after that play, seven via base hit. In a matter of minutes they ended the game.

And to make matters worse for Tampa, they faced Robert Gasser tonight who channeled his inner Don Larsen. ROBERT GASSER. This team is invincible.

This is a Rays home game by the way. You wouldn't know it though based on the crowd. Milwaukee invaded in full force.

They're packing it back home also.

We're watching a team and fanbase that won't be denied. This is one of the more impressive postseason runs we've seen in some time. They deserve all of this.
