Drake Maye Confesses He Used To Play Rocket League Tournaments Every Night Until 1 AM, But Now Plays The 8 PM One After Getting Married

Listen, it's no secret I don't like Drake Maye. That's nothing that he did, I just root against Boston sports at every chance I get. I was having a field day the first few weeks of the season sitting next to Bald Paul watching him sweat knowing his franchise QB may not be totally franchise anymore. He ended up fine, but damnit, I may like Drake Maye now.

Rocket League is an elite video game. Anyone under the age of 30 has probably played it at one point. If you haven't, you live under a rock, but it looks something like this:

FIFA while driving a car is an elite video game concept that they somehow executed to perfection. I was never good at Rocket League, but it may very well be one of the hardest video games to master. I can't help but think that if you're playing in a tournament every night until 1 AM and still managing to be a professional quarterback, you're probably pretty damn good at the game. It's like how LeBron could pick up any and every sport in existence. He probably would be elite at any video game you throw at him too. Athletes are just different.

Anyway, hopefully we get a crossover between Drake Maye and the Rocket League professional league in the offseason. Imagine him on center stage doing a flip reset with an arena of fans watching? Kinda scenes.
