INSPIRING – Aaron Rodgers' Brother Luke Shares Family Photo WITH Aaron Rodgers, After Years of Reportedly Being Estranged

My god, does Aaron Rodgers' helmet get bigger by the week? What does he keep in that thing? A studio apartment? It looks bigger than some player's guardian caps.

Aaron Rodgers has been such an easy player to poke fun at all these years. I mean... every NFL player is pretty easy to poke fun at. That's what Sundays during football season are all about – calling the best athletes in the world fucking bums. The more you can shoehorn their personal lives into it, the better. And Aaron Rodgers gave football fans SO MUCH material. The famous girlfriends, the mystery wife, the ayuhuasca and darkness retreats, whatever politics he talked most recently with Joe Rogan, playing for the Jets, and for the longest time... any good Aaron Rodgers hater's ace in the hole – "EVEN HIS OWN FAMILY HATES HIM!"

Well, take that, haters. Those are photos from the Instagram of Luke Rodgers himself. He's letting his very own formerly estranged NFL Hall of Fame QB brother be photographed with his children, and he's posting them to the internet. All that after watching his maybe-not-complete-asshole brother bring Pittsburgh back from down 16-3 in the 4th quarter to beat the Bucs, and improve the Steelers to 4-2.

What a time to be Aaron Rodgers. The family has apparently come a long way since brother Jordan publicly shamed brother Aaron for not checking in on mom during some California wildfires.

People – On Wednesday, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron, 34, announced that he’s donating $1 million to help those impacted by the wildfires in his home state of California.

Jordan, 30, responded to the video on Twitter, accusing his brother of not reaching out to his own family as the fires began to spread.

“PLEASE DONATE, SPREAD AWARENESS & SEND LOVE,” he tweeted. “But when your own Mom is home alone during the fires, car packed ready to evacuate, & you miss the fundamental first step of compassion; calling your parents to make sure they are safe…. Everything else just feels like an act.”

Not to read too far into a situation that I clearly know nothing about, but considering the age of Aaron Rodgers' niece and nephew… well, I'd imagine it would be pretty tough to stay estranged from your NFL QB brother once your kid realizes how fucking cool it is to have an NFL QB uncle. At that point, I don't know how I could not let my children reap the benefits of being Aaron Rodgers' niece and nephew. Whatever petty family rivalry shit there was between us… I mean… am I supposed to tell my son he can't go onto the field after an NFL game because Aaron was kind of a dick 10 years ago?

A source close to Aaron previously told PEOPLE the brothers have had a lifelong rivalry.

“[They] have always been competitive, and they’re always trying to one-up each other,” said the source. “It’s been that way since they were kids. They got older, and the stakes got higher.”

The rivalry came to a head a few years ago when the brothers got into a disagreement that soon turned into a “blow-up,” the source said. “It wasn’t an argument about anything all that interesting. Some things were said on both sides that were regrettable.”

“Their parents got involved in the middle of it,” the source added. “Everyone needed a cooling-off period. It could have ended there, but some people chose to go public with it, rather than keeping it a private family matter. And here we are.”

Please. Like the great Rico Bosco always says – some things are bigger than family. Like having access to an NFL football player.
