'It Almost Cost Us The Game' - Joe Brady Is Now Publicly Threatening To Not Give James Cook Handoffs If He Keeps Fumbling The Ball

I see a lot of people bitching about this from Joe Brady. People saying Cook should demand a trade. People saying where's the accountability for Josh Allen. I love it all. James Cook had a brutal fumble on Monday Night Football

Cook isn't the first running back to be called out by his coach for fumbles either. I'm old enough to remember Giants fans losing our mind over Tiki Barber and his fumble problem until he changed how he carried the ball. What is Brady supposed to say here? He's playing it right. He put Cook back out there to end the game. It's not like he auto benched him. It's just saying he's either going to hold onto the ball or not get carries. Not like he went Don Billingsley's dad on him

And as for people trying to compare this to Josh Allen, where's the bigger fall off? Going from Josh Allen to QB2 or James Cook to a Ray Davis? I don't think Bills fans would be screaming to bench Josh Allen, no matter his turnovers. The guy is in MVP contention for a reason. It's not really an apples to apples comparison here.

I don't know how we got the point though where accountability was lost. You see it in all these replies, which I know Twitter isn't real, but this isn't built on Brady hating Cook or anything like that. It's built on Joe Brady trying to win games. If James Cook gives him the best chance, he's going to get the ball. If not, Josh Allen is running more. Not everything is some big controversy or needing a trade demand. It's don't fumble. That simple.
