UPDATE: Dianna Russini Reportedly Just Hired An ELITE Crisis Publicist To "Navigate Past The Mike Vrabel Scandal" So She Can Return To Sports Media "Sooner Than Later" And Tell Her Side Of The Story
Apologies to any Patriots fans who thought they could loosen the bolts and relax a bit now that Vrabel has turned their season around. Because unfortunately for them, Dianna Russini is still floating out there in the ether like the living embodiment of the Demeter.

And just like that infamous merchant ship, she's become a cursed specter lurking behind a wall of whispers, ready to strike from the shadows and plague an entire city if she must. Even her secrets have secrets. Although there's no denying that as it it stands right now, she remains the most interesting sports media reporter in the world. Albeit, currently unemployed.
Giphy Images. But certainly seems like she's done sitting on the sidelines and ready to take herself off the PUP. Fully healthy for another epic comeback. Pun not intended but intended.
(PFT) - Via Lucas Widman of the Post, Russini has hired crisis publicist Melissa Nathan in order “to navigate past the Mike Vrabel scandal.” Widman also explains that the move comes as Russini “prepares to return to work,” and that Russini believes she needs “some outside help to revamp her career.”
Although the damage to her credibility (both from her reaction to the Vrabel scandal and the bizarre story about calling a coach on FaceTime to get out of a ticket for texting while driving, which apparently was not true) will make it very difficult to return to reporting, she could launch a podcast, somewhere… Whatever the context or the platform, Russini’s biggest challenge will be to get people to believe what she says. And that will hinge in large part on what she says and how she says it the next time she talks about Vrabel.

Now apparently this isn't your average crisis publicist either. Russini went with an ELITE option who also helped celebrities like Logan Paul, Johnny Depp & Justin Baldoni navigate their PR problems into positive spin zones. Combine that with the previous Week 1 news that she was ready to explore new job options, and ya gotta figure that Vrabel tell-all episode is coming SOON.
Like I said, BIG Demeter vibes from her. Brace for impact.
(SOURCE) - Via Michael McCarthy of Front Office Sports, Russini has had discussions regarding several opportunities, “ranging from pro football insider to opinionist/personality.” McCarthy adds that Russini expects to make her next move “sooner rather than later.”
Giphy Images.Of course it would be a bananaland reality AND the definition of an electric factory if she ends up getting hired here at Barstool SPORTS. I feel compelled to throw in what I've already said about that situation just in case that does actually happen. No hard feelings Dianna. If anything, great teamwork so far. Pageviews all around!
(SOURCE) - Honestly have no idea if those whispers are true but as I've stated a many times before, NO hard feelings from my end if she does end up becoming a co-worker here. There's never been a personal angle in any of this coverage. I just simply cannot resist hoarding juicy pageviews for the people. As a fellow Big J combing the internet for clicks, I'd like to think she'd sympathize with my situation.
After all, living inside Scoop City 24/7 is not for the faint of heart. The Internet can wear you out like no other. The digital version of the rippin' & the tearin'. But I'll always respect anyone out there who's willing to go hard in the paint. So best of luck to her with that well earned comeback. And remember, I'm saying this will all due respect.

So just in case she does end up becoming my co-worker someday, best of luck to her sailing her way outta these stormy seas. I'm sure she's still got plenty of sports media magic to provide to the masses. Scoop City needs its mayor back. Will keep you updated on when Dracula she returns! Until then, stay strong you princes of New England, you kings of New York.
