Kelly Clarkson Is In An All-Out BATTLE With A Novelty Store In Brooklyn After They Passed On Selling Her A Bird Sculpture

Just drove all the way to Brooklyn to check out this store I thought looked really rad and had a few things in mind to buy and literally was looked at as if I couldn’t afford it and was told he could find something comparable for me. Wow, dude. You’re an idiot and just lost a huge sale. But y’all should go check out Art of Play in Brooklyn if you enjoy being treated like Julia Roberts character in Pretty Woman. For sure, check it out 👎

I don't know if you guys have seen this, but Kelly Clarkson is going fucking scorched earth on Twitter right now.

On Saturday, she tweeted out this paragraph about how she was disrespected by the owner of a novelty shop in Brooklyn. Apparently, she was trying to buy a bird fixture on the wall of the store, and the owner denied her by telling her that he could "find something comparable" instead. Well, Miss Clarkson didn't like that one damn bit, so she went right for this guy's jugular.

I've never seen such a popular celebrity try to bury a local business on the internet, but that's exactly what Kelly Clarkson did. She even name dropped the store! Just zero fucks given. As it stands, the tweet has garnered over 37 million views. That's absolutely insane. The only way to get more views than that is by tweeting about the concrete beach in Chicago.

But then the store responded with an apology, and they claimed that the bird sculpture Kelly wanted...wasn't actually for sale??? WHAT?!

See, this is where the plot thickens guys. Stay with me.

The store's social media account posted that the bird actually has a name, as it plays a pivotal role in the magic shows that they host at the shop. And not only did they allege that it wasn't for sale, they even threw in a Kelly Clarkson song lyric at the end of the apology to try and smooth things over. Yeah, big fucking mistake, buddy.

Now, I think a lot of celebrities would've left it at one tweet. The damage has already been done, and the store's probably getting a shit ton of hate from the initial post as is. Mission accomplished, ya know? Who cares what the owner has to say in response? Well apparently Kelly Clarkson does, I guess. Because she went right back at the fucking guy! And she had some DAMNING evidence to bring to the table.

Wait, wait, wait…so the bird sculpture WAS for sale?? And it had a price tag next to it that said $15,000 on it? I mean, that flips this entire story on its head!

So according to Kelly Clarkson, this store isn't just owned by a scumbag. It's owned by a lying scumbag. And I really hope he claps back at her now. I need this beef to keep going.

I will say, though, there are a bunch of people in the replies mentioning that just because there's a price next to the item, that doesn't mean it's necessarily for sale. It could just be there to denote the item's worth. And maybe the store owner simply didn't articulate that to Kelly in a proper manner.

Who the hell knows, man. All I know is that I'm gonna spend this entire week thinking about whether this bird's for fucking sale or not. Thankfully, we have one of our best journalists on the case.

I'm glad Pablo can take time away from disproving magic tricks so he can get to the bottom of this story. After all, it might be his biggest investigation yet.

I can't wait to see what happens next in this saga. But regardless, I can't get over how nuts it is that Kelly Clarkson started this drama the way she did. It's so fucking funny.

And while I definitely find this all to be amusing, I really just hope that the truth prevails. And that justice will be served at the end of the day. That's all.
