Jordan Love and the Packers Handed Ben Johnson His Worst Loss So Far As The Bears Head Coach
Chicago Tribune. Getty Images. Not every win in the NFL weighs the same. When you beat your rival that constantly thinks and talks about you, it means more. That's what a rivalry is all about.
So when you talk like that, and get beat like this, yeah it feels awesome.
All Bears want to do is clown on Jordan Love, and all that man could do today was torch the Bears secondary. His 367 yards were the most through the air by a Packers QB at Lambeau against the Bears ever. He did it all day.

Sure, Caleb Williams wasn't the Bears starting QB today, but last I checked Caleb doesn't play defense. Love dissected this secondary and made a statement all afternoon. Because of poor play from himself, an awful o-line, and some brutal drops by his receivers, Love hadn't had a signature great game this year so far. Not anymore. This was a clinic.
The win definitely does more for Green Bay than it does for Chicago because of the Caleb Williams situation. He wasn't in there today because of an amputation to his leg a slight pulled hammy. For that reason this was a must win for the Pack. Under no circumstances could you lose at home to Bagent and let Ben Johnson peacock up and down your sideline. Instead he constantly was met with this look of helplessness. Erotic if you will.
Michael Reaves. Getty Images.Maybe this Packers team needed the Bears on their schedule as a way to lock in? Could be that this o-line is starting to figure things out with the reinforcements trickling in. The Bears may not be that good after all with this defense. Either way, things looked the part today, LaFleur let Love chuck it down the field, which results in the best things for this offense. This is the guy you paid.
After all the dogshit this team has been through, to be 3-2 and a division win against the Bears under your belt, things could be worse. Schedule doesn't get easier from here, and the injuries are still brutal to look at, but sometime before Thanksgiving you'll get one of the best defenders in the game back rushing the passer. Who knows, but a win like today can go a long way. Always good crush the Bears. Fuck you Ben Johnson.
