Angel Reese Is One Win Away From The WNBA Finals
Listen, we're going to have to engage in some uncomfortable discussions if the Atlanta Dream win the WNBA Finals in Angel Reese's first year a part of the team. Sure, she's on a really good roster, far better than she had in Chicago, but Angel Reese has improved significantly. There's no doubt about it, and anyone who tells you otherwise doesn't know ball. She won the defensive player of the year and has looked very good in the playoffs:
The Dream are up 2-0 on the Liberty who have been a juggernaut of a team for the last few years and while they were a little worse than expected this year, they put belt to the overwhelming favorite Minnesota Lynx. On the other side of the bracket, the Valkyries are up 2-0 against the Aces and may have the best home court advantage you've ever seen:
Unreal. Anyway, to all the Barbies out there, just know we may be staring down the barrel of an Angel Reese WNBA championship:
That would make her an NCAA champion and a WNBA champion. I don't know if the timeline is ready for the victory lap that she takes if that would happen. But I like seeing everyone up in arms, so Go Angel Go!
