Banner Day For NFL Refs: One Apparently Hit Trey McBride With A 'Fuck You' And Another Threw A Hissy Fit After A Vikings Player Accidentally Knocked Him Over

So this was the first one that started going viral yesterday. Do I care about the fuck you? Absolutely not. Not when Trey McBride is losing his mind and quite frankly was a baby. This has nothing to do with me still being pissed about the soft pass interference call on Deonte Banks to get the Cardinals down to the 5-yard line. But there's nothing wrong with a fuck you. My problem is the double standard of it all. If a ref wanted to, they hit a player with a flag and 15-yard penalty and there's likely a fine. 

So what happens here? Does the ref get punished? That's what the NFLPA wants

But the biggest loser? This ref: 

Guy out there acting like my 4-year old when he can't have ice cream for breakfast. Just an incredible hissy fit over a guy accidentally knocking him over and trying to help him up. Again, this is being reviewed: 

What does that ref think is going to happen? He gets in the face of the Vikings defender like he's about to fight. I think if a ref acts like this, don't suspend him. Don't fine him. One Oklahoma drill vs the guy he threw a hissy fit at. That would be fair. Ref can put on pads and a helmet. Then go meet him in the A gap. 

I'm just sick of NFL refs. Any ball that's underthrown? Pass interference. Celebrate a little? 15-yard penalty. They are turning games into snoozefests, along with some bad quarterback play. I just want to watch good games that have some sort of flow to them. There's no consistency from game-to-game with these guys. I say the fuck you is funny, the hissy fit after getting knocked over is just pathetic. That's the ultimate loser move. Laugh it off, pop up and get ready to call a hold.
