Bust Watch Continues: Cam Ward Loses Again, Then Threatens To Walk Out From His Press Conference Because He Was Pissed At The Local Media
Typically I'd back the athlete here and go on about how these journalists don't need to act all entitled and it pisses me off how they think they need the world handed to them. If something isn't catered to them they lose their minds. Seriously watch them one time a player doesn't speak or the food in the press box isn't good enough. But this is different. This is Cam Ward just kinda being a bitch if we're being honest. Then again, how many times can he keep saying that he's been bad?
And I'm not even one to look at the record with Cam Ward as a starter. I don't think that tells the whole truth about a quarterback. I mean no one was calling Matthew Stafford a bad quarterback because the Lions weren't winning shit. It was that the Lions sucked as a franchise. Part of this is how I feel about Cam Ward. Half of it is Cam Ward looks bad. He makes mistakes, he has no big plays, Titans fans don't have confidence in him. That's not what you want. At least a someone like Stafford, Lions fans felt like he'd score and then they'd lose it somehow.
This is also what happens when you suck. Everything gets amplified. Everyone sees you bitching about having to wait for your press conference and then calls you a baby. Everyone then digs into your stats, record and pointing out how you're getting lapped by other people. Look at the same draft class. Tyler Shough is being praised for looking how he does. It's not like he walked into a normal franchise with where the Saints were at.
All I know is we are on bust watch. We're a step away from Cam Ward getting benched to 'learn' or whatever Saleh/Daboll say in that moment. Then it's the rehab project as a backup quarterback. We've seen this time and time again. Really, Cam Ward should be lucky he plays for the Titans and how irrelevant they are because has a number 1 overall pick, especially a quarterback, ever been talked about less?
