I Love To See This GUTSY FLOP by Navy Football's Sign Guy During The Navy-Air Force Game

I'm a little apprehensive about writing this blog. I'm afraid it could be treason. Does Navy's sign guy count as troops? I know their head coach isn't a military member, but the sign guy is a wildcard. It could be a student, which would technically make him an active-duty member. Jimmy Carter went to Navy. Navy's sign guy could be President of the United States one day. What if during his campaign, someone uncovers my blog and it leads to attacks ad saying, "Would you trust a FLOPPER to run our country?" What if he gets elected anyway, and his first order of business is to have that asshole Barstool Sports blogger who nearly torpedoed his career thrown in Gorilla Guantanamo?

Honestly, I would vote for a president who flops. Those who flop are willing to do anything to win. There's a reason so many great athletes of our time are famous for it – LeBron James, Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes. It comes from a place of ultimate competition. In many ways, it's the most selfless thing a player (or sign guy) can do for his team. When a player elects to flop, he knows he'll be ridiculed for it. He knows the internet will say hurtful things like, "What a bitch", and "Look at this flopping ass bitch". But sometimes flopping works. And seldom is it punished (if at all). Flopping is a sacrifice only a person who cares not about his own public image, but the betterment of his fellow men, will make.

Hysterical flop, though. Put his whole body into that one. In all seriousness, if you're a sign guy, it's the least you could do for your team. Well... aside from holding up the correct sign every time.

Side Note: I wonder if a sign guy has ever gone rogue and called his own play. I know quarterbacks have their helmet comms now, but I would love to hear a story of a young sign guy who once identified a weakness in the defense and went over the coach's head to call his own play. And it worked. That would be something. If you're a sign guy, you've gotta try it at least once in a meaningless bowl game or something.

Anyways, the refs barely ever punish players for flopping. I don't even know if they're able to. They're especially never calling it on the sign guy. Way to put it all on the line for your team country, Navy's sign guy. Remember me when you're famous.
