JJ McCarthy Switching To Number 18 Is Going To Save His Career As Much As Him Getting Traded To The Giants

If we're being honest, just getting rid of the whole 'Nine' thing is a smart decision. This is step 2 in turning around his career. Step 1 was obviously getting out of Minnesota. Sure, KOC might be a quarterback whisperer but Sam Darnold's career got better the moment he left Minnesota. In fact Sam Darnold's career was never higher than it's been since he left Minnesota. Just some things that make you think. 

What I don't get with all of this is why is Jake Haener getting a new number?

Let me get back to the original point here. I'm buying JJ McCarthy stock. We're out Nine stock. It's about 18 now. It's a good quarterback number. I mean if Peyton Manning can wear it, it's a good quarterback number. It's not like he can wear 10 and win two Super Bowl's in New York like another Manning. I believe that you take the risk on a guy like JJ McCarthy and see what you get for a year. 

That said, I've seen more than enough of Cam Skattebo/JJ McCarthy memes, but this one was worth it
