We Got Our First Look At LeBron James' Helicopter Situation As He Left Sixers Practice, And The Internet Is Beside Itself

The King is officially where he belongs: The City of Brotherly Love. Well, technically we haven't seen him in Philly yet. But we have seen him at the Sixers practice facility in Camden, New Jersey! Which is a considerably worse place to be than Philadelphia, but still…you get my point. 

Obviously, the losers and lowlifes who don't have LeBron on their basketball team had much to say about the fact that LeBron wouldn't actually be living in Philadelphia full-time. There were headlines when he signed with the Sixers about him living in New York and helicoptering in for games, practices, etc. And yesterday, we saw that plan of his in full effect as he left the Sixers' facility.

I can't even imagine being a rookie on the Sixers and seeing LeBron James just hop in a damn chopper after practice. It's almost like you're teammates with the President of the United States. Or a fucking Avenger. He just pops in, gets his work done, and then flies away.

Apparently, the helicopter could be heard pretty clearly when Anfernee Simons was still talking with the media yesterday. I guess LeBron just wasn't wasting any time getting out of Camden; he had his pilot firing that thing up as fast as possible. And honestly, I'd be wanting to get the hell out of that city as fast as I could, too. 

Now, you can't write this blog without acknowledging that a LOT of people have responded negatively to this video online. For obvious reasons. 

If it means anything, I don't think LeBron will be using this helicopter anywhere near as much as people have speculated. He did reveal to Dave McMenamin the other day that he also HAS A RESIDENCE IN PHILADELPHIA. So for all the people laughing about how LeBron would rather live in New York instead of Philly, it seems like he'll actually be splitting time in both cities, thank you very much. You trolls can go suck a fat one. 

He's LeBron James, for fuck's sake. He can afford another house or two. 

We'll see how this whole operation of his comes into form as we get into the groove of the upcoming season. We're just getting a glimpse of it now, and we're also getting a glimpse of what LeBron looks like on the court with this Sixers squad. Did you guys see the video of him throwing a lob to VJ Edgecombe??

It's so damn beautiful. Embiid forcing the steal. LeBron leading the break. VJ throwing it down. I nearly had to change my pants after watching it for the first time. Also, I'm assuming LeBron is repping #9 in practice to show love to Bronny? That's #Family if I've ever seen it. 

This whole week of Sixers content has been wild. It's finally starting to settle in that LeBron is a fucking 76er, and I can't wait to see him spoil Ring Night for the Knicks next month in New York (AKA the SECOND best city he'll live in this year).
