Job's Not Finished: Klint Kubiak Doesn't Want To Hear Anyone Praising The Raiders For Being 3-0 And The Biggest Surprise In The NFL

I can't believe I'm writing a positive blog about the Raiders. They were always easy to have a blog making fun of something stupid happening to them. It's just who they have been as a franchise for a couple decades now. They lose. That was just Raiders football.

Until now. Until Kirk Cousins stepped in to be the mentor for Fernando Mendoza 

And with Klint Kubiak coming over from the Seahawks. I don't care who they've beat so far, they've won. That's all that matters. Not only that but they are finding ways to win. It's not like it's a shootout or winning ugly. They just look ... good. And now they get Brock Bowers back. He's pretty good! 

Think about where the Raiders were this offseason. They traded Maxx Crosby! He was supposed to be in Baltimore and now he's back looking like an elite defensive player again. I don't think you can consider trading him now. Not when you're winning. This week will tell us a lot. Kubiak knows that: 

Dude can deliver a speech. But, yeah, you get the Chiefs coming in and the Chiefs seem to be back to being the Chiefs. Not sure how many other times I can write Chiefs in that sentence, my fault. You get the point though. It feels like a true national test for the Raiders. If they win and go to 4-0, it's time to talk about them as a playoff team. 

I know it's coach talk from Kubiak, but people should be praising the Raiders for being 3-0. When's the last time we really thought of the Raiders winning games? Coach Gruden being there? I know they made the playoffs with Derek Carr, but it never felt real. Now there's a real future with the Raiders.
