The Pete Alonso Tour Continued As He Hit Career Home Run 300 At Citi Field To Tie The Game In The 9th And Got The Very Rare Visiting Player Curtain Call From Mets Fans

This guy really does have a flair for the dramatics, eh? O's playoff hopes are microscopic, almost non-existent, but don't tell that to Pete Alonso who crushed home run number 300, threw his bat at the speed of light, and turned Citi Field into a madhouse as Mets fans watch their closer blow the game. That's the first time I've ever heard a home crowd cheer visiting player after he tied the game in the 9th and get a curtain call.

Mets fans then made their unhappiness that Pete didn't hit his 300th home run in a Mets jersey known with a giant Fuck You to the front office to go along with the curtain call for a game-tying home run by an opposing player.

The hits really keep on coming for David Stearns and Mets fans.

After the game, Pete met up with the fans who caught his home run and treated them nicer than anyone has ever been treated. Asked what they wanted, signed balls, bats, jerseys, anything they wanted. Signed everything for them, brought them some beers, and offered them tickets if they wanted to come down to Camden Yards. Truly the kind of guy you want your team to build around.
