Source - More than a dozen former and current Penn State University students are facing charges related to a cocaine-trafficking ring that allegedly ran out of two off-campus fraternity houses and required pledges to prepare the drugs.
Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday announced 14 people face charges after an investigation dubbed "Operation Drugs Unlimited” was conducted with local police. The alleged conduct took place in 2023 and 2024, with at least four of the charged individuals still enrolled at Penn State.
Former Sigma Chi member Agostino Abbatiello, the accused ringleader who’s also allegedly known as “Pablo Pledgescobar,” surrendered on Tuesday (Aug. 18) after missing his scheduled arraignment for the previous day. I need to ask a serious question - are we making too big of a deal out of this? God forbid a white boy catches some motion. It's not like he's the first guy on the planet to sell cocaine. He's a nerd with a "is 'passion for numbers and financial storytelling' which I'm sure he's using right now. '14 felonies + 10 kilos of cocaine = 25 years behind bars.' Seems harmless to me. I'm not trying to defend the guy, I'd just be lying if I said I wasn't a little bit impressed. He called himself Pablo PLEDGESCOBAR for christ sake. Imagine calling yourself THAT with a face like THIS?!

Daily Mail: According to the evidence uncovered, cutting and packaging cocaine was, for some pledges, an indoctrination into the fraternities.Court documents obtained by Fox News alleged the suspect made tens of thousands of dollars in profit from the trafficking ring. A co-defendant told investigators that, in one transaction, he purchased over $50,000 worth of the drug from Abbatiello through cash and digital transactions, the outlet reported.
Keep in mind he was allegedly selling $50k worth of cocaine at a time, which means he probably was moving way more than that. I don't know. Drugs are bad. Don't do them, don't sell them.
Pledgescorbar also allegedey cut hair for extra cash while loaning his frat brothers money, who he would then have 'work off' by selling his drugs…
Unreal. Illegal, highly immoral, and dangerous…but unreal. It'll be interesting to see how long he ends up in jail. If I had to guess I'd say 10 years plus a shit ton of probation. Time will tell! Thanks for reading and remember…don't do drugs.
