A New, BETTER Trailer For 'Avengers: Doomsday' Dropped And The Hype Is Officially On

Heroes from three different worlds must unite when they're thrust together to confront a catastrophic danger that could destroy everything they know.

Why on earth didn't they start with this trailer instead?

Something I praised the last trailer for was not giving away too much. We live in an age where every studio feels the need to do a 3 minute trailer that reveals every plot point of the movie. Here's looking at you, Sony. But that last trailer did a good job giving quick glances, and this one did as well. The difference is that this trailer is MUCH better! Better looks at the cast, setting up some of the base conflict without giving away anything origin or plot wise and just doing a better job getting the hype rolling. And I think after the success and quality of 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day', people are starting to get back on board with the MCU.

I'll reiterate what I said with the last trailer. I feel the fatigue many of you have for this genre was brought on by quantity over quality. What gets my hopes up for this is simple: This is the Russo brothers bag. There is truly nobody that does team up movies like them. On top of that, they snaked their way into getting RDJ back (and his voice at least sounds cool in the trailer), AND Michael Waldron, who penned the best marvel TV show in ‘Loki’ was on the script.

AND to reiterate something a wise man once said, we don’t have “superhero fatigue”. We have fatigue for BAD superhero movies. And I’ll hold out hope that this is a good one.

As of right now, it’s slated to release against Dune III on December 18th.
