Scottish Woman Delivers Emotional Thank You To The People Of Boston That Will Restore Your Faith In Humanity

"This is the America we were promised growing up. What a place. What a fucking place." That's it. Get me to 250. I'm ready. There's been an increasingly present air of patriotism ever since Memorial Day and it's videos like these that add fuel to the fire. Yeah, America has its problems, but you know what? So does everywhere else. And I'd rather deal with our problems in the unparralelled air conditioned splendor of an American establishment than anywhere else. Sometimes all it takes is a little perspective to remind you of that. I wrote a blog yesterday about Europeans experiencing America for the first time and it's awesome. I guess I'm just feeling grateful. Especially after watching that woman's video. She called a regular Tuesday in Boston "the best day of her life." So next time you wanna bitch about something, just remember that your average day is someone else's dream. 

I'm just glad that the people of Boston have welcomed the Scottish with such open arms. I mean why wouldn't they? From my blog yesterday...

The Tartan Army and the city of Boston…a match made in heaven. Who'd have thunk that the round-faced, falstaffian, endomorphs of Scotland would take so kindly to a city that prides its self on drinking beer? The answer? Everyone. It makes too much sense. The Scottish people coming to Boston is like when two long lost siblings finally reunite. There's an unspoken bond. A familial familiarity that requires no spoken word to fortify their ancestral kinship. In other words…it just makes sense. 

So shout out to this lady. We all knew that Bostonians were great, but hearing it coming from someone with a funny accent makes it that much more meaningful. Fingers crossed the Scots can beat the Moroccans tonight at 6:00 PM. Have a lovely weekend!
