The Jacksonville Jaguars Are Going To Beat The Brakes Off Of The Buffalo Bills

Yesterday afternoon was a changing of the guard in my brain when it comes to the Jacksonville Jaguars. For years and years and years, I've never been confident as a Jaguars fan. Never in my life have we gone into games where I thought that we would win. Even in the "good years," like when Blake Bortles led us to the AFC Championship game, I didn't think we would win games. 

I didn't just think we would lose the tough games; I thought we would lose games to the Jets, Dolphins, Raiders, and Cardinals of the world, and we usually would. 

After the Jaguars beat the Titans 41-7, I thought, "I don't care who we play. We are going to beat them this week." It took a lot for me to get to this point.  

Trevor Lawrence is playing out of his mind right now. Every time he steps back to throw it, Im confident that Parker Washington, BTJ, or Jakobi Meyers is going to be right there snagging it out of the air because that's exactly what's happened over the last couple of months. The Jaguars have gone from 5-4 to 13-4, and it's largely because 16 has gotten it figured out. 

The Jaguars' offense will cook against the Bills, but Im confident that the Jaguars will beat them because of the defense. 

Because the offense and defense are humming at the right point, I didn't sit on my couch thinking about what the favorable playoff matchup would be. I didn't go through thinking "oh, the Jaguars have already beaten the Broncos, Chargers, Texans so maybe we should want one of those teams." Nope. Jaguars fans dont have to care this year. Line up Josh Allen and send him. 

The Buffalo Bills are going to come to Jacksonville on Sunday afternoon, and they are going to lose by 10+.

It's a great year to be from Duval County.
