Liam Coen Doesnt Give The Slightest Shit What You Think About The Jaguars And I Don't Either

Yesterday was a day that I've been waiting a long time for. Back when I first started here, the Jaguars' top selection was a fella who would go on to cement his legacy as one of the best Blakes of all time. He took the league by storm and soon had the Jaguars one poor whistle away from the Super Bowl. That team completely fell apart the next few years, and the Jaguars have been in the basement ever since. Sure, there was the game when Trevor Lawrence threw for like 5 interceptions in the first half and then came back to win in the Wild Card round, but that's neither here nor there. 

Yesterday was the day. 

Yesterday was the day that I became a full-blown believer. It took a while. It took a while because I was about as out on a guy as one could be about Trevor Lawrence. 

Things have changed and changed in a big way. On November 9th, the Jaguars were up 19 against Houston and somehow blew that lead. The Texans were lookin nearly cooked for the season and then had an insane comeback that I thought might not just doom the Jaguars season but possibly Coen's tenure in Jacksonville. It was as bad a loss as I can remember, and my friends, I have seen some bad losses. 

I was wrong… Really wrong. Until I was right. 

Since that last tweet, Trevor Lawrence has been one of the best Quarterbacks in the NFL. Just in the last two weeks, he has accounted for 10 touchdowns and zero turnovers. He's slinging the ball all over the field, running with his legs, and managing the clock better. He looks like the quarterback that all Jaguars fans thought and hoped he'd be. 

But the league still doesn't give the Jaguars the respect they deserve, but no one in the building in Duval County gives a damn about that. 

They dont need to care either because these fellas are taking the belt off and takin it to people's asses and Liam Coen is a big big big reason for that. 

I'll get into the defense for another blog, but watch this highlight reel from yesterday and then you'll see why this Jaguars team, coaches, staff, and fans dont care if the respect is comin because they are making plays like these against the best or 2nd best defense in the NFL. 

Not bad for a small market team.
