The All New Orleans Ole Miss Playoffs Is A Dream!!!!!

Ole Miss is the #6 seed in the College Football Playoffs and will be hosting AAC Champion Tulane in Oxford!

I honestly cannot freaking believe it! Uptown NOLA & Oxford, Mississippi my two favorite places clash in the Playoff! With a win, Ole Miss follows that up with a New Orleans trip to take on Georgia in the Sugar Bowl!!!

The all Ole Miss/NOLA playoffs is the stuff dreams are made of!

Ole Miss THRASHED Tulane 45-10 in late September but expect the second matchup to be a whole lot tougher. Tulane Coach Jon Sumrall will have the Green Wave ready to fight in Oxford.

Ole Miss obviously will not have Lane Kiffin on the sidelines for the playoffs either as the Pete Golding Era begins. The Rebels will have most of their staff including Offensive Co-Ordinator Charlie Weis Jr. & should be ready to roll.

The Rebels opened as a 16.5 point favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook & +2800 to win the National Championship.

A potential rematch with Georgia in the Sugar Bowl would really be something too. Ole Miss scored 5 TDs in first 5 possessions only to fall apart in Athens to lose 43-35 after leading by 9 at beginning of 4th quarter.

The Rebels also would basically have a home field advantage in the SuperDome that could play a big factor. And good luck stopping Trinidad Chambliss on turf too!

All things considered, Ole Miss could not have a better Playoff draw. Can the Rebels make a serious run at this damn thing?!?!?
