Baseball Gods Don't Forget - Dodgers Players Apparently Have Identified The Blue Jay Who Was Talking The Most Trash During The Benches Clearing Incident In Game 7.....Closer Jeff Hoffman Who Ended Up Blowing The Game

Oh no Jeff Hoffman, say it ain't so! I believe this is what the youth call a "fuck around and find out" moment.

We remember the benches clearing incident in game 7 that got everyones blood pressure to rise, Andrés Giménez sticking his arm out on a high pitch to try and get hit, only for the next pitch from Justin Wrobleski to hit him on the next pitch. Chirping ensued, benches cleared, bullpens emptied but obviously no punches were thrown. No one is going to chuck knucks in a game 7 but it's always fun to see the guys chirping and going nose to nose.

But on the podcast "Dodgers Talk" with David Vassegh he reveals that Dodgers player said one Jays player in particular was the most active in the scrum. That man is Jeff Hoffman, the pitcher who attempted to close out the World Series and bring a championship back to Toronto. The only problem with talking a lot of shit when you're a pitcher is that sometimes you hang a slider justttttt a little bit too much.

The baseball gods never lose, you mix it up and talk shit, you will get humbled. Karma comes for us all, sometimes in the top of the 9th of the World Series in game 7 when you're trying to lock down a save. You know that had to feel good for the Dodgers when they heard the chirping and then realized that they had a chance to shove those words back down Hoffman's throat. Miggy Rojas with the ultimate humbling moment as he sent that ball over the Jays bullpen to tie the game. Just a super tough look for Hoffman who had no issue running his mouth about 2 different teams failing his physical in the off-season.

You've got to know as a closer or pitcher in general, keep your mouth shut because you will give up a homer and it'll bite you. Especially when you're in a game 7. Should have stayed in the pen and worked on that slider Mr. Hoffman, now you'll have to live with this forever. Just a super tough look for him. Bet he learned to keep his trap shut, especially when you're facing a lineup like LA has, I mean how crazy is that? He poked the bear and saw first hand what happens when you do that. Whoops!

Baseball gods don't forget Jeff!
