'You're Either Going To Nut Up Or Shut Up' - Brian Burns Is Sick Of Hearing That The Giants Defense Sucks, Now Challenging Them To Actually Show Up For A Game

There are few bright spots with this Giants season. Jaxson Dart, our guy of the present and future. Cam Skattebo before injury, yep sign us up. Andrew Thomas is still an elite offensive tackle. Then there's Brian Burns. Brian Burns is legit the defensive player of the year right now. He's been awesome with 11 sacks, 2 forced fumbles and 14 tackles for loss. He's good, I will fight anyone who says otherwise. But, everything else has been shit 

And more importantly Shane Bowen is a piece of shit. Not even bad, just a piece of shit defensive coordinator. He has all these weapons at his disposal and can't do anything. The defensive backfield is a joke, he refuses to run the NASCAR package and all this other stuff. So with the Bears coming in, running the ball down people's throats, it's time for Brian Burns to lead from the front.

Nut up or shut up. I'd like that to apply to Shane Bowen. Nut up as a defensive coordinator and actually come up with some sort of scheme that works. That and everyone else on the defense needs to listen to Brian Burns. It can't just be him out there making plays. I'll say Thibodeaux and Carter have been fine to good too. But dear God, someone show up. The Giants defense should not be this bad. 

I know he's not talking about everyone else here specifically, but he is. This is a challenge to everyone else. These guys aren't dumb, they know what's going on. Nut up or shut up, it's that simple. Or roll over, die, let this regime get kicked out and keep on sucking for another year.
