Is Using Chopsticks To Eat Sushi The Standard Or An Elitist Move?

Dana tried sushi for the first time the other day and absolutely went to war with the chopsticks. Which brought up a surprisingly divisive topic on The Yak. Do you use chopsticks for sushi or do you use your hands?

But as a guy who is half-Asian who is very out of touch with Asian culture, it is insane to not use chopsticks. They're so easy! And if you don't know, a 20 second YouTube tutorial can surely cure it! Using your hands is for breaded foods sandwiches, hot dogs, or burgers. Wings too. But rice covered food? You simply cannot eat that with your hands.
