The Coolest Moment In The NBA Last Night Happened In The Final Minute Of A Blowout When The Spencer Brothers Squared Off

Last night the Grizzlies visited the Warriors in an early regular season game the Warriors won by 13. But at the end of the game, we got some additional excitement when Warriors Coach Steve Kerr and Grizzlies Coach Tuomas Iisalo each checked the Spencer brothers into the game. Warriors mob guy Pat Spencer and Grizzlies Guard Cam Spencer got to go against each other in a moment they'll never forget.

Cam had a little bit more fanfare, coming from UConn and being drafted in the 2nd Round of the 2024 NBA Draft. Pat on the other hand was the 1st overall pick in the Premiere Lacrosse League Draft in 2019 but opted not to play, instead trying to make the NBA. He went undrafted in 2020 and later caught on with the Warriors in 2022.

With the game result basically sealed, in a time where the winning team would usually dribble out the clock, Pat's Warriors teammates waving him on, Pat decided to take Cam 1-on-1 in the best moment of the night.

The result was a missed fadeaway, but some things are bigger than sports. What a great moment.
