Good Times: Cam Ward Was Screaming At Mike McCoy On The Sidelines For Coaching Scared, Basically Begging For Someone To Save The Titans

Honestly forgot the Titans played yesterday because you could make a case the Titans are the most irrelevant franchise in the NFL, especially this year. Then I remembered that Jim Nantz can't stand having to even talk about them in highlights: 

Then I dug deeper into what the hell was going on. You had Cam Ward screaming at Mike McCoy for coaching like a pussy. You punt on 4th and 3 at the Colts 42-yard line after running on 3rd down, you should be fired immediately. I don't care if you're the interim head coach, get someone who at least wants to fight to win a game. You're still going to get a top pick, you still suck as a team, but give your No. 1 pick something to play for. Instead we got him talking about losing all the time

The man is begging for someone to save him. You gave him Brian Callahan and then Mike McCoy in the same season? That's asking you to just give up on everything in year 1. No one thought the Titans would be good, but you gotta at least be respectable. They are barely competitive, unless they are playing the Cardinals. I don't blame Ward for screaming at McCoy asking him what the fuck he's doing. Hell, he should have kicked the punting team off the field himself. McCoy isn't there once this season is over, Ward is the future of the franchise. You can be a player-coach in this situation and go for it on your own. 

I have no idea how good Cam Ward is or is going to be, no one does. But I do know he's the No. 1 pick playing the hardest position in sports without a whole lot of help. It might take some time for him to look the part or put up stats look the part, but you have a guy in charge who is too scared that he punts in this scenario.
