Ja'Marr Chase Has No Idea How Or Why Joe Flacco Eats Alone At The Bar - Will Learn One Day How Every Person Needs To Experience This

Dante laid out the story here yesterday. Joe Flacco going to the bar by himself to get some food is a normal move. It's something that we all should do and as you get older you learn to embrace it. Hell, I know what Flacco is talking about in terms of being a dad and just getting some escape from the screaming and talking at a dinner table. You don't do it all the time, but that day where the wife and kids are out doing whatever and you're not there. You go sit by yourself at a bar and embrace the silence, a little food and drink with some small talk with the bartender and you're good to go.

Ja'Marr Chase on the other hand is a 25-year old wide receiver. That's exactly why he says this:

Now, I assume every wide receiver would answer like this. They can't fathom sitting alone at a bar, even being in the front room is wild to them. But it's the ultimate difference between a 40-year old and a 25-year old. A 40-year old dad lives for that brief moment of having a second to themselves, not having to tell one kid to stop beating up his brother during dinner, talk to another adult without a 6-year old cutting you off to ask what or why or something from 48 days ago that randomly into their mind. Don't get me wrong, those moments are awesome, but every single person in the world needs that moment to themselves.

There is a moment when this all clicks. There is a moment when you stop caring about sitting alone at a bar or a movie theater or a sports game, whatever it might be. That's a moment when you also need to worry about popping an Achilles or tearing an ACL with one wrong step out of bed. But, it's a moment that changes your life because you truly stop caring.
