We Got The Video Of Michael Jordan's 'Nervous' Free Throw That He Talked About On NBC And It's Somehow Even Better Than Imagined

Everyone saw this story. Impossible not to see a story when Michael Jordan speaks. In fact we had 3 blogs on this very thing.

Well, I'm here to add a 4th blog because we now have video of this free throw:

Fucking perfect. That really is the blog. I don't know why people thought Michael Jordan would fake this story or talk like it didn't happen exactly like this. He walked out, talked a little history, drilled the free throw and walked away. I'm not even sure how you find this clip, but I love it. This should be what MJ does at halftime. Just walk out to a free throw line, give everyone a little history lesson about one of the greats, sink a free throw and he can leave. If he misses, he has to talk about the next guy.

I do hate that I had to consider if this was AI multiple times. Luckily this is where Jordan talking about Wilt solidified it for me. AI doesn't know shit about the history of basketball. I will say, this is the dream as any old guy now. You just want to make a shot in front of a crowd. Doesn't matter if you're the best player the game has ever seen or some fat dad getting shots up at a park with your kids over the weekend. You can't miss here, there or anywhere. Best feeling and sound is that net making the swoosh.

Pretty jealous of those damn kids though. Get to have a house at the Ryder Cup, shoot the shit with MJ and now be part of a story. Being rich seems awesome, we should try it out. Either way, Jordan delivered.

I want a whole series where sports legends go around to regular people and do this. Oh you're staying on vacation, spend 5 minutes with a family around you, tell a little history lesson then do this. If it's baseball, have Barry Bonds hit a bomb to the moon. Have one of the old quarterbacks just launch a ball. Give me something that seems so basic but mixed with a story captivates everyone.

History lesson, dribble, swish.
