It Took Just One Game For Us To Get The First Mind Bending Play Of The Season From Victor Wembanyama

If off the top of my head you made me list the top 3 current active players that I would deem "must watch", it's probably Steph, Jokic, and Wemby. When I think of players who are going to show me something I've never seen before, I go to those three guys.
With Wemby, it's especially freaky. He's doing his shit at 7'7 which to this day my brain still can't really comprehend. This new current version of Wemby is some sort of KG/Hakeem Olajuwon Hybrid, and as you can imagine, it's just as terrifying as that sounds.
Take what happened in the first half of the first game of his Year 3 season. I want you to sit there and watch this and tell me it makes any goddamn sense
I know I say this a lot in all my Wemby blogs, but what the hell man. What are we watching? How on earth do even attempt to stop something like that? We're just pulling off reverse dunks from the other side of the rim like it's nothing? That may as well have been an uncontested layup for 99.9% of the human population, and here goes Wemby unleashing something they'd probably give a 50 in the Dunk Contest?
I guess we now also have to add a Dominique Wilkins badge to Wemby now? Is he adding elements of NBA legends' games like they're infinity stones? He has KG's intensity. He has Olajuwon's Dream Shake. Is this him snagging a Dominique Wilkins Dunk Package stone? That's kind of how it feels if we're being honest.
I'll remind you, this is the first half of Game 1. This is what I mean when I say Wemby is already in the "must watch" category for me. You cannot miss a single second of his minutes, because on any given possession he's going to melt your brain with something you didn't even know could be possible. It's both incredible and terrifying all at the same time.

He's currently giving AD hell, who just so happens to be one of the best defenders of his era. Now imagine what he's going to do to everyone else? Good luck!
P.S.
Wemby then followed that up with this play to start the 2nd half so yeah, we're all fucked
