We're At The Point Of The Jets Season Where Aaron Glenn Is Claiming The Media Will Be 'Bitching About That Too' When Justin Fields Makes A Bad Play
It was only a matter of time before we got here. I thought it'd be next week considering everything that has gone down with the -10 passing yards, Garrett Wilson getting pissed at halftime and basically hitting rock bottom. I assumed if we all saw another bad Justin Fields game this weekend then we'd hear something like this.
Uhh, Aaron, first time dealing with the media? Of course everyone and anyone is going to bitch about Justin Fields if he makes a bad play. You're coming off a game where there was -10 net passing yards!
It's also pretty much impossible to get your point across when you're 0-6 and look nearly hopeless out there. It's not just the media saying something along these lines, it's anyone who watches football. We all expect to make fun of any quarterback when they make a bad play, it's how the NFL works. It's obviously amplified when you don't have a win and are one of the biggest laughingstocks in the league.
Little lesson here is winning cures everything. At the minimum be competitive or look the part. I don't know how the Broncos only won 13-11 in London, assume that's just a London thing. But at some point you have to make some sort of leap or people are going to be screaming for Tyrod Taylor even more. One hell of a week for the Jets and we haven't even seen them play yet.
