Love Wins: Three Years After The Affair That Cost Them Their Jobs Went Public, Former Good Morning America Hosts T.J. Holmes And Amy Robach Are Now Happily Engaged

You guys remember T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach? They were the hosts of the third hour of Good Morning America, otherwise known as GMA3.

Back in 2022 reports surfaced that they were sleeping with each other for months, in what was an affair that had been going on for months. Disney had no fucking clue what to do with them because 1) it was messy 2) people were actually tuning into GMA3 and ratings were soaring. I for one had no clue that show even existed until the affair. Once it came out it was impossible to take your eyes off these people. 

Two months later they were off the network for good. At that point they were kinda put in a spot where it was marriage or bust. It's a tough way to put it, but you can't lose your career and your family just for a quick affair. That shit better be true love forever. I'm talking fairytale shit. Well, a few years later it seems to be. They're engaged!

The craziest twist of all with this story is that their exes, Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig started dating each other after this all became public. It was reported back in February that they were serious enough to move in with each other.

Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig are living together after their respective divorces from Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes, according to a new report.

“[They] have moved in together,” a source told Us Weekly Thursday. “It’s not revenge. It’s real.”

Nothing like bonding over some heartbreak, huh? 

Listen, are affairs bad? Of course, two families were broken up here. Kids lives' flipped on their heads. But is it at least a little nice to see that the affair has led to two strong, long-term relationships? Maybe it was meant to be? Sometimes I guess you gotta ruin your career and family to find your true soul mate. In a way they did everyone a favor! Count me in as rooting for them!

P.S. The biggest loser in this whole debacle remains Disney. You idiots had gold on your hands and you threw it in the garbage because of what? Morals? Two consenting adults started a relationship at your job, the fucking horror! That was a fun dynamic airing out in front of us on live TV and they cut the cord on it. A bombshell story on Jeffrey Epstein? Where were the morals there?
