The Bengals Proved Once Again They Are A Dumb Franchise When They Reportedly Didn't Call The Giants And Try To Trade For Jameis Winston

The Bengals traded for Joe Flacco yesterday. Sure, whatever, that's fine and all for a week before that offensive line doesn't block anyone and you have an old quarterback who isn't exactly 'fast' back there. Instead you could have been fun and made a trade that everyone wanted to see

Loser franchise. That's what the Bengals are and what they'll always be. There's a reason they don't have a Super Bowl and have been known as the Bungles. It's not making trades, even if it would have cost you a little bit more because Jameis Winston deserves more. You could have at least been entertaining. You could have at least made everyone happy with letting Jameis out there having a great time and eating Skyline.

Now, as a Giants fan, I don't want to lose Jameis, but for the right price I'll welcome him here in Cincinnati with some Graeter's and a trip to Ruby's. The league is more fun when Jameis is out there, because you don't know what's going to happen. He could go for 400 to Ja'Marr Chase alone or he could audible and instead of taking a knee run a dive so Chase Brown finally scores.

I don't know how you sit there in a conference room and not even make the call to the Giants. You can't convince me Joe Flacco is 100% the better option than Jameis. You have fans begging for Jameis:

Some franchises just aren't winning franchises. It's fine, I know the feeling with some of my teams. That's who the Bengals are though. They could have been fun again, they could have had some success with Jameis, instead they didn't even bother to call. Sad really when you think about it.
