Jayson Tatum Was Just Named Duke's "Chief Basketball Officer" And Will Be Offering Career Guidance And Mentorship To Duke Players

Listen, this will be the first and only pro-Celtics blog I ever write and I'm not even sure it's going to be that. I was going to write about how the only people on the Internet dumb enough to believe LeBron's "second decision" was the announcement was unfortunately a Barstool employee:

But Greenie is writing another blog about how he was duped in which he'll probably say he didn't actually believe it and it just turned out to be an ad for an unnamed alcoholic beverage (no free ads). I'm not sure who told him he could take the LeBron beat because I'm a proud Bronsexual and that's my territory, so that's why I'm writing about Jayson Tatum becoming an advisor to Duke's program.

And I'm in no place to talk about off the court behavior because LeBron has been golfing his summer away while Tatum looks like he's going to recover from a major injury in record time and already is back doing some light work on the court. I never wanna see a guy like that injured and I like when the Celtics are good because it means they have to go to bed thinking about the big bad Lakers every night.

Anyway, the only thing I'm sorta confused on here is Tatum offering career guidance like he wasn't a one-and-done and knew he was going to be a millionaire in the league after one year in college. And yes it's Duke so most players probably have NBA ambitions, but is he going to be the guy to tell some of those players that they're better off learning real estate because the league isn't for them? Is he even qualified to know that?

I also don't think I trust him constructing a college roster, again, mainly because he only spent one year in college but I digress. We need Tatum back on the court healthier than ever and a Lakers-Celtics finals one final time before it's all said and done for the King. Good luck out there.
