'Panic. Sheer Panic' - Trevor Lawrence Perfectly Explained What The Hell He Was Thinking During His Absurd Game-Winning Touchdown
I fully understand that Trevor Lawrence got into the end zone here and Chris Jones had almost no effort, but I have no idea how the hell he still scored. I didn't think that pass to Brian Thomas would get overshadowed, but one of the more absurd touchdowns, especially game-winners took care of that. Should have known something good was coming the moment Trevor Lawrence got caught picking his nose before the drive:
Awareness to do nothing weird here though. You won't find me shaming a man for having to pick his nose, get in the zone to deliver a win for Jacksonville. It's all about that play though. It's fucking hilarious, we spend hours listening to people analyze coaches and game plans and then none of it matters when a man gets tripped by his own guard. Sometimes you get a guy on the ground, trying to throw the ball while his ass is on the ground, only to get up and break some tackles for the game-winner. Again, can't stress this enough, he tried to throw the damn ball, he even admitted so in his interview after.
Yeah, panic makes sense. Not sure what person in the world wouldn't be panicking in this sort of situation. Football, man. What a sport.
