We Have Yet Another Set Of Stadium Renderings For The Chicago Bears In Arlington Heights And I Am Disappointed
By the looks of it, the Bears are currently planning on putting Allegiant Stadium on wide load trailers and putting it down right off of Rt 53. It looks EXACTLY like the Raiders stadium. Carbon Copy. Like the Bears are looking to save money on stadium design because they'll just plagiarize another stadium designed by the same firm.
It's early days in this process still somehow. The Bears have released several stadium renderings over the years. Not to mention the Lori Lightfoot lakefront proposal that probably cost the city a million bucks just to make. I HOPE that the Bears stadium isn't like that. I want it to be cool. I want it to be unique. I want it to feel like home. Soldier Field absolutely sucks as a venue for a variety of reasons, but the location and the columns are iconic. The Bears move to Arlington Heights better not turn them into some cookie cutter stadium. It needs to feel like us, but, ya know...with more winning. I went to two dome stadiums last year. Indianapolis and Minnesota. Indianapolis looks cool on the outside with the red brick, but once you're in there the atmosphere reminded me of a mid-week NBA game. It sucked. Minnesota was light years better somehow. Probably because it feels unique to them. The Raiders Stadium might be the coolest venue in the NFL for all I know...I still want the Bears to have something unique to us.
Give me an AI Bears stadium please
