Chappell Roan Brought Out Nancy Wilson From Heart For A Badass Cover Of 'Barracuda' Last Night

If there's one thing about this generation of pop stars that I really love, it's how often they pay tribute to the music they grew up on.

This year alone, Olivia Rodrigo brought out Robert Smith of The Cure at Glastonbury and David Byrne of Talking Heads at Gov Ball, Sabrina Carpenter brought out Earth Wind & Fire at Lollapalooza and Duran Duran at Hyde Park - and now Chappell Roan brought out Nancy Wilson of Heart at the second of her four shows at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens last night. And I'd assume the average fan of one of those girls probably didn't know much about the "legacy artists" until they started doing their covers/showing respect to them on stage, which is awesome. Getting the next generation into some of the most iconic rockstars of all time rules.

Chappell has been covering 'Barricuda' on tour for a while now, but last night was her first performance with the queen Nancy Wilson herself, and it RIPPED. Nancy Wilson can still shred, Chappell can fucking wail on vocals (way more than most give her credit for), and the whole band was super locked in. There's no bad spin even Frank The Tank could put on this!

Oh and Chappell went viral for the outfit she wore....

I'm a happily engaged man so I have no comment on that. Huge fan of the performance tho.

Here's some classic Heart performances for ya to cap this blog off....
