A New Tradition Unlike Any Other: We're Finally Able To Watch More Of The Masters On TV, Getting An Extra Two Hours During The First Two Rounds
Dear God it's actually happening.
I'm fully aware of the app and how we can watch shots there. But there is no bigger argument or complaint people have than not getting The Masters on TV. Also aware that this is streaming, but we take our wins when we can. The Masters isn't one to make change, we lived plenty of years where we didn't even get the full 18 holes over the weekend on our TV. This? This is a step in the right direction.
I stand by the fact the Masters is the perfect golf event with the perfect setting. You know the holes, you know where shots need to go and then all the history comes into play. You can close your eyes and hear the song
And more importantly we're getting two extra hours each of the first two rounds. That matters because we're going to see guys all over the leaderboard. You're seeing guys fight for the cut, see if someone stays at the top of the leaderboard. Once the weekend hits, we know where everyone is and the focus is on the top. Then on Sunday everyone starts talking about it more, you can see the collapse into Rae's Creek or an amateur peeing in it.
I want nothing more than just being able to slap on the TV and watch The Masters. Well, I'd love to go back, that's really what I want more than anything. It's the ultimate bucket list place for anyone who cares the slightest about golf. But since I'm not winning the lottery this year, give me the TV.
