Andddd Exhale: Jayden Has A Minor Knee Injury, Will Be Fine

Anddddd exhale. Sheesh. All week all we've heard is "Jayden might be hurt" with no further details. People whispering about an ankle injury here, a bone bruise there, possibly it's his wrist, but nothing definitive. And obviously you never want to hear that your QB is getting an MRI. I don't like those machines at all I tell ya what. MRI machines are just looking for trouble. You go into one of them with a knee injury, you come out with 4 more injuries you didn't even know about. So all things considered a sprained knee doesn't sound so bad.

What does this mean for his season? Well, he's doubtful for Sunday as of now, and I'd err on the side of caution because this isn't a playoff game, it's Vegas. I wouldn't hate seeing Marcus Mariota suit up vs Vegas and then have Jayden ready to go in 2 weeks vs Atlanta. Or shit, if Marcus plays well, let him sling it down in Georgia too and have Jayden ready for the October 5th game. My point being, I see no reason to rush Jayden back if Mariota can handle two bad-ish teams in a row. 

The NFL is a tough league and the guys will get banged up. Just glad it's not overly serious and the MVP/Super Bowl is still on.
