Commanders Lose The Most Uninspired Game Of The Jayden Era

Absolute ass puts it mildly. From the first drive of the game the Commanders played the most uninspired, lackadaisical football we've seen in the Jayden era. A pathetic effort on both sides of the ball and all 3 coaches. Dan Quinn took all 3 timeouts into the first half, instead opting to try a 58 yard field goal with a kicker who doesn't have a 58 yarder in his bag. But it's worse than just that- we HAD ALL 3 TIMEOUTS AND THE BALL IN ENEMY TERRITORY DOWN 14-3!!!! I've never seen clock mismanagement that pathetic.

Kliff was horrific calling plays on the offense and Jayden had his worst game as a pro. Maybe a bit of a chicken or the egg situation there, but Kliff was as vanilla and uninspired as possible, while Jayden continually missed his targets. And for some reason Bill got virtually no snaps after being great last week. And Terry is MIA. Just completely a non-factor over the first 2 weeks. Extremely frustrating for the $100 million man to be a ghost. Deebo gave great effort, credit to him. Everyone else, woof.

And the defense was nothing to write home about either. Lattimore was terrible, nobody could cover Kraft, the tackling was suspect, and boy do we need an EDGE. 

All in all a bad game. Yes, it was on a short week in Lambeau vs an extremely good Packers team. But you would expect at least some effort- unless the Pack are SO good they make an NFL team look like Pee-wee. 

So now we get 10 days off to regroup and figure shit out. Burn tonight's tape and try again on the 21st vs Vegas.

Ekeler looks like he tore his Achilles on a non-contact play and Wise got rolled up on and had to be carted off in extreme visible pain. A terrible game and gruesome injuries to add salt to the wound. Just all around brutal.
