The Spanish Call of Joey Aguilar's 73-Yard TD Pass Is the Most Electric Moment From Saturday

Saturday went about as well as it could have for Tennessee, with the Vols putting 45 points on Syracuse that included a 73-yard touchdown pass from Joey Aguilar in which he hit a receiver streaking down the field in stride for the score. I had honestly forgotten that was legal.

And you will not find a better clip from across the country yesterday than Carlos Lopez's call of Aguilar's strike to Braylon Staley. Carlos does Spanish broadcasts of Tennessee football games and they're always outstanding, but he was in his bag a little extra with this one.

Every exciting moment just sounds better in Spanish. And the, "AGUI-, AGUI-, AGUILARRRRRRRR," was incredible. I'm glad Carlos got an opportunity to call a great play like this in the first game of the season after sitting through a year of Nico Iamaleava trying to play quarterback.

Vamos Vols.
